About Us

The Richmond Youth Concert Trio was founded by Emma-Marie Dulog, Talia Pirron and Thea Rugg. The three girls met through homeschool groups and music programs when they were young and have always enjoyed making music together. In fall of 2014 they decided to start performing at local farmers markets and thus the Richmond Youth Concert Trio was founded! Since then, they have enjoyed playing for various local farmers markets, business events and private parties! Continue on this page to read more about our members!

Emma-Marie Dulog, age 15, is the harpist in the Richmond Youth Concert Trio. Throughout her 10 year journey as a musician, Emma has had many musical experiences in specialized music camps and piano and music lessons, starting when she was just four years old. Along with playing and performing harp and piano, Emma also takes part in a choir here in Richmond, known as the City Singers Children's Choir (citysingerschoir.org) where she has immensely enjoyed practicing and performing with them for the past five years.  With City Singers, Emma has gone on tour and performed in Washington D. C. at the Lincoln Memorial and the Capital Building.

Emma-Marie's harp adventure first began when she came across the American Youth Harp Ensemble (harpensemble.org) during one of their Summer Music Institute Camps. She studies under Bridgett Stuckey as her private teacher, and Lynnelle Ediger-Kordzaia and Aponi Brunson as her ensemble directors.  She has also received master tutoring during master classes from famous harp music composers and performers such as Monika Stradler, Jaquile Bartlet, and others. With the American Youth Harp Ensemble (AYHE, Emma has performed at the Kennedy Center and the Lincoln Center, Alice Tully Hall, New York City. Just this summer, the touring ensemble traveled to Sydney Austrailia to perform at the World Harp Congress. This past fall, Emma has played with AYHE at the Lousia Arts Center and at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels in Baltimore, Maryland. The American Youth Harp Ensemble has been polishing Emma's musical journey and provided her with amazing experiences. Ever since, she has performed various gigs at churches and other locations all around Richmond.
